Shaping the Fuselage

As we don’t have access to computer-controlled CNC equipment, and we have one of the best shapers I’ve seen in our team (Richie!) the shaping of the fuselage was done all by hand. A lot of work, but the result is amazing… (and there’s a glimpse of our next project in here as well….:-)

  1. All done by hand? That is amazing! I am very impressed.
I have seen my brother sculpt in marble.
Will you be building any of the JS3 for sale?

      • The WordPress Theme I’m using unfortunately doesn’t allow photos in the blog be enlarged when clicking on them, but I will try to build in a gallery with photos that can be enlarged in the next week or so. Good tip, thanks!

      • I’ve now included a JS3 build gallery where you can find larger versions of the pictures in the build blog.

    • Thanks for the compliment! It’s for personal use only I’m afraid, sorry! It may be made available commercially at some point (Chocofly is selling the commercial version of two of the earlier projects of the same team, the 1:3.5 SB-15 and 1:3.5 Diana2).
